| 9/2/19 to 9/8/19 Avoiding Dorian, we stayed in Florida but headed west to Laguna Beach, then traveled down to Orlando for a few days, seeing family and birding St. Mark's NWR, Conservation Park, and also checking out Apopka Wildlife Drive. | 9/2/19 St Mark's NWR, FL: We arrived late in the morning and it was a little quiet, but we still caught a majestic Bald Eagle, Clapper Rail , Great Egret , Osprey , juvenile Tricolored Heron , juvenile Yellow-crowned Night-Heron , yellow Warbler (f), and Common Grackle . |

| 9/7/19 Fort Walton Beach, FL: It was exciting to see so many shorebirds! Wilson's Phalarope (w STSA), Western Sandpiper , Lesser Yellowlegs (1 leucistic), Least Sandpiper , Killdeer , Canada Geese , Buff-breasted Sandpiper , Stilt Sandpiper , Blue-winged Teal , Spotted Sandpiper , Solitary Sandpiper , Pectoral Sandpiper , and Mourning Dove . |

| 9/6/19 Laguna Beach, FL: A walk among the Long-leaf Pines rewarded us with a Red-headed Woodpecker pair investigating a nest hole, Easter Towhee , Red-bellied Woodpecker , and one of many Pine Warblers zipping through the canapy. |
