| 4/27/18 to 5/3/18: FLORIDA: We traveled down the east coast of Florida to Key West, and then took the ferry to Dry Tortugas, FL, where we camped for three nights. We are still astounded by what we all saw! Mangrove Cuckoo, Wurdemann's Great Blue Heron, warblers galore, and an American Flamingo as well! | 4/30 and 5/1/2018 : Dry Tortugas, FL: The warblers were amazing : Magnolia Warbler , Ovenbird , Northern Parula , Gray-cheeked Thrush , bird-eating Cattleegret individuals (we saw them catch and eat 5), Cape May Warbler , Brown Noddy, Blackpoll , Black-throated Green Warbler , Hooded Warbler , Least Sandpiper , and Masked Boobies comfortable on their own key. Lesser quality images of Blue-winged Warbler, Kentuky Warbler , and Black Noddy ! Thanks, Chris, for pointing it out and then showing us the Bridled Tern pairs that were hidden over a wall. |
