| 8/24/2017 : Trail Ridge Road, Denver, CO: A special sighting was an American Three-toed Woodpecker! Also: American Crow with young , Mountain Chickadee , Pine Grosbeak (f), Prairie Falcon , Red-breasted Nuthatch , White-crowned Sparrow, White-breasted Nuthatch , Yellow-rumped Warbler (Audubon), MacGillivray's Warbler , Gray Jay , Downy Woodpecker , and Common Raven . What a great day! |
| 8/23 to 8/29/2017 : A trip to Denver, CO allowed us to see both family and birds! Lots of mammals and wild flowers were seen as well. |
| 8/24/2017 : Scenery and animals from the mountains around Denver, CO: (Some of these are taken with small pocket camera.) Mock-battling Elk was an early morning treat as were the sheep! |
