8/23/2017 : Mount Evans, Denver, CO:  It was fun to see an American Dipper "dipping" along a little
stream.  Also: American Pipit in various plumages along with a Common Goldeneye (f) and a juvenile
Chipping Sparrow who cleverly looked for food under cars at a trailhead during a cloud burst.
8/23/2017 : Mount Evans, Denver, CO:  A "gray head" Dark-eyed Junco feeding its young, a Common
Raven with an amazing bill, and a Clark's Nutcracker.  Two Double -crested Cormorant individuals were
really playing together with various objects they found - so interesting to watch.  Also: Gray Jay , Mallard ,
Mountain Chickadee, and juvenile White-crowned Sparrow .
8/23 to 8/29/2017 : A trip to Denver, CO allowed us to see both family and birds!  Lots of mammals and wild
flowers were seen as well.
