| 7/7+8/2014 South of Amelia Island, FL: It has been a real treat to see the White Pelican flock gathering at the lagoon south of the island. First, An imm. Bald Eagle , Green Heron , Red-shouldered Hawk , and then a White Pelican fiesta! Also showing up were Wood Stork , Osprey , Least Tern , Laughing Gull , and Great Egret . All were after the abundant fish! |

| 7/8/2014 Least Tern colony, Amelia Island, Fl: these guys are adorable! Again, please respect the parents and keep your distance. We moved forward only when people started walking in front of us due to the rising tide. Keep all dogs away. Even if they are on leashes, it really upsets the birds. Thanks! |
