| 8/5+6/13 Chun'an Lake or 1,000 Island Lake, China. The lake was a pleasant, very touristy spot. The very quiet and reasonable Xiyuan Hotel is highly recommended with great views. (The sunrise pics were taken from there.) It was wonderful for birders as there were many birds around the parking lot and treed drive. The last 2 pics are sunset in Shanghai, catching the world's second highest building being finished. |
| 8/10 thru 14/13 Singapore is a great city of wild places contrasting with the super modern! Scenes from downtown, the Botanical Garden, the Garden by the Sea, and the Japanese and Chinese Gardens. |
