| 7/6-11/13 A visit to Tibet offered us some amazing scenery and beautiful vistas. We flew into Lhasa where we stayed in the Dekang Hotel. It was almost a museum. We visited the Shugseb Nunnery for some pheasants, then traveled to Nyingchi (420km East) for the high altitude Derbyan Parakeet, and then we came back to Lhasa. Most of the people we met were lovely and kind. The wildflowers were incredible. |
