| 6/25-28/13 Chengdu area, China: Leshan's Giant Buddha, Emeishan Mountain, and Longcanggou Forest with a few shots of pandas from Chengdu's Panda Center. BTW, Leshan's Giant Buddha is 71m tall with big toes 8.5m long. Emeishan is a holy mountain and has a number of temples and great views. After the pandas, there are a few shots of the Bamboo Garden, Chengdu, and the butterflies seen on the trip. We are keeping tabs on the building of the China's tallest building in Shanghai as construction progresses. |
