| 1/6 thru 1/12 2013: Our trip to India started in the beautiful Goa region. Santosh Redkar (9881180424) was our wonderful guide near the coast. Thanks, Santosh! Then, we went to the famed Backwoods Camp with Loven as our guide. Thanks, Loven, and the Backwoods camp staff! Loven was an extraordinary birder and the forests around the camp were great! 1/6/and 1/7 Coastal Goa: Bronze-winged Jacana , Brahminy Kite , Brown Hawk Owl, Siberian Stonechat , Common Tailorbird , Crimson-backed Sunbird , Green Bee-eater flock taking a dust bath , Black Kite , and plenty of gulls at the beach. |
