We will post some of our favorite, more recent pictures here first!

Week starting 7/1/10 We took off for our 33rd Anniversary to AZ to hike about the canyons and to see what new birds we could find. It was beautiful!!! Hummers were EVERYWHERE! Shown here: First, the leucistic Black-chinned Hummingbird that shows one purple spot on its chin - the bird seems to be causing a bit of a stir in AZ. Also shown : Black-chinned Hummingbird (f+m), a Vermilion Flycatcher at his nest, Magnificent Hummingbird , One more Lucifer Hummingbird (showing her bill), wet and dry Anna's Hummingbird , Hepatic Tanager , Greater Roadrunner , and a Broad-billed Hummingbird study (m+f).

Some more of those mentioned above plus one White-eared Hummingbird and a Blue-throated Hummingbird ( last two hummers shown). Also a House Finch with nest material and a White-winged Dove and Wild Turkey. A number of immatures are just showing their spots and makes IDing interesting!
