| 6/26/20 to 7/4/20 We headed north to Minnasota and North Dakota: It was gorgeous out and every bird seemed to be having young at the time. More pics from ND still coming! |
| 7/2 and7/3/20 Near Steele, ND: A Ferruginous Hawk nest was an awesome find and we stopped by to check on it a number of times. (We kept our stays brief so as not to disturb the parents.) We saw other individual adults in the area as well. Also: Chestnut-collared Longspur (m,juv,female with food), Blue-winged Teal (f, with many chicks), Ring-necked Duck (m), Orchard Oriole (m), Swainson's Hawk , Yellow-headed Blackbird , Savannah Sparrow with food, and Sedge Wren . |
