| 3/7/2018 : Near Amelia Island, FL: We had to get out on a brilliant spring day and were greeted with some old familiars and a few wintering birds, like a Loggerhead Shrike and a distant Common Loon. Sleepy Black Skimmers were only moving when the tide displaced them along with the Laughing Gull flock, Herring Gull, and Brown Pelican (ad +juv). |

| 3/15/2018 : Amelia Island, FL: A few beauties were picked up on a glorious morning: Yellow-throated Warbler, Gray Catbird , Northern Cardinal , Eastern Phoebe , Common Grackle , Blue-gray Gnatcatcher , and Black Skimmers arriving at sunrise. |
