10/31/2014 Merritt Island, Fl: Black-bellied Plover , American Wigeon , Turkey Vulture , Indigo Bunting (f),
Greater Yellowlegs , and a Caspian Tern that could not figure out how to eat its fish.  American Coot
flocks were everywhere.  Also, a Loggerhead Shrike study, a young Little Blue Heron, a Pied-billed Grebe
pair,  and a Short-billed Dowitcher .
10/31/2014 Merritt Island, Fl:  Two Osprey individuals had a juicy fish to eat and were willing to pose.
10/31/2014 Merritt Island, Fl:  A wonderful little American Kestrel showed up in great light while we were
focused on a distant Bald Eagle, so we took it instead.  Then, a young Broad-winged Hawk landed above
the car (not so great light, but still...).  Don't you just love migration?
11/3/2014 Amelia Island, Fl:  Nothing came particularly close to the camera but we did see a Yellow-rumped
Warbler flock, a pre-dawn Red-shouldered Hawk calling, a Northern Mockingbird , a distant Clapper Rail ,
an Anhinga drying its wings, a Cooper's Hawk (m), and a Turkey Vulture in flight.
