3/8/2014 We are back in the USA, living in northern Florida, and are already having a blast with the birds!
Between unpacking boxes, we spent a day exploring and hiking around Amelia Island, FL.  It was grand
to see a Black Skimmer flock resting on the beach.  Unfortunately for them (but lucky for us) the little
tourist kids could not resist running about to see them fly.  We tried to catch them in flight.
We were in Shanghai, China, for 2 years 1/1/2012 thru 2/1/2014 and were able to see many of the exciting
birds in China while also taking bird trips to quite a few other countries and to Australia as well.  (See our
Asia/Australia link on the main page!)  During our two year stay in China, we came back to the USA for a
number of trips and the next pages reflect those trips and the pre-China years of photography.
