4/18/10 Spring has arrived at White Clay Creek SP, DE and PA! There is nothing better than hearing a Louisiana Waterthrush except seeing one! A beautiful (tho tailless) Chipping Sparrow was singing as well, but the Blue-gray Gnatcatcher was more efficient, he never stopped feeding and sang while he foraged.
4/17/10 A couple of pairs of Wood Duck were on the Brandywine River in DE. Just glorious colors.
4/16/10 Caught sight of a Piping Plover , a Yellow-throated Warbler , and a Pine Warbler in NJ.

4/20-21/10 Bellvue State Park, DE brought some warblers into view: A gorgeous Palm Warbler and a Yellow-rumped Warbler showed up. Also a Northern Cardinal , a Red-bellied Woodpecker (who wasn't quite sure of the camera), and a Red-tailed Hawk were at Alapocas Woods, DE.

4/24/10 The making of a Blue-gray Gnatcatcher nest. A Carolina Chickadee had the same idea!
