| 8/8/20 to 8/11/20 Amelia Island, FL: Waders fill the Florida ponds this time of year. It is great fun to watch them stalk, dart after, and catch their breakfast: Little Blue Heron (juvenile white), Snowy Egret , Great Egret , Yellow-crowned Night-Heron (juvenile), Tricolored Heron , and Wood Stork . Also, an immature Great Crested Flycatcher , Tufted Titmouse , Northern Parula , Northern Cardinal (m in molt), Carolina Chickadee , and Blue-gray Gnatcatcher. |
