| 6/26/20 to 6/29/20 Sax Zim Bog and Big Bog areas, Minnasota: Cool trip but we were often not sure whether we were looking at birds or horseflies, deerflies, and giant mosquitoes! We were a little late in the season to see some of the birds but we sure had fun trying. Palm Warbler , Broad-winged Hawk , American Bittern , Possible Least Flycatcher , American Redstart , Lincoln Sparrow , Purple Finch , Rose-breasted Grosbeak , Red-winged Blackbird , Least Flycatcher , Swainson's Thrush , Swamp Sparrow , Possible Veery juvenile , Veery , Turkey Vulture , and a distant Yellow-rumped Warbler . |
