| 5/11/20 and 5/12/20 Amelia Island, FL: A Painted Bunting sighting is always fun. Our Red-bellied Woodpecker chicks were visible and finally fledged. Also: Red-winged Blackbird , Summer Tanager , Tricolored Heron , Great Crested Flycatcher , and Blue Grosbeak (f). |
| 5/11/20 and 5/12/20 Amelia Island, FL and Big Talbot, FL: Monitoring our Downy Woodpecker nest, we were seeing the parents bringing food. On Big Talbot, Gull-billed Tern pairs were feeding each other. Also: Mottled Duck (hybrids we think from various markers) , a Lesser Yellowlegs showing its wings , and a Double-crested Cormorant , |
