| 5/5/20 to 5/8/20 Amelia Island, FL: It was kind of exciting to document a very rare Black-billed Cuckoo on island (not the greatest pic but the red orbital and black bill are clear)! A Yellow-billed Cuckoo taken 4/25/20 is shown here for a fun comparison. Also: a Wood Stork group, followed by a Swallow-tailed Kite fly-by with a snake , a Spotted Sandpiper in breeding plumage , and a Roseate Spoonbill family. |

| 5/5/20 to 5/8/20 Amelia Island, FL: A Dickcissel showed up on island with a flock of Bobolinks! Also: Brown Thrasher (nest material), Red-wing Blackbird (f) also with nest material , juv. Clapper Rail , Northern Mockingbird , Orchard Oriole (m), Savannah Sparrow , Cooper's Hawk , Common Ground-Dove , Snowy Egret , Lesser Yellowlegs , Carolina Chickadee (ad. and juv.? after bath), Blue Grosbeak (m), Gray Catbird , Great Egret , and our Red-bellied Woodpecker family finally shows us one of its chicks. |
