4/6+7/20  Amelia Island, FL:  While the Covid-19 virus wreaks havoc across the globe, our thoughts and
prayers are with all those suffering in the world.  Please keep your distance and stay well!

We still get to go outside and migration is on.  A bird we don't get to see often is a Worm-eating Warbler .
This one gave us some decent looks as it foraged for worms.  Also: juvenile Bald Eagle , Carolina Wren ,
Wood Stork , Blue Jay , Downy Woodpecker at nest, Snowy Egret , Seaside Sparrow (distant but a cool
group sighting), Tufted Titmouse , Red-bellied Woodpecker at nest, and Little Blue Heron .  In our own
backyard, we had an Ovenbird , Northern Cardinal pair , and a Prothonotary Warbler !
4/4/20 (and 3/29/20) Amelia Island, FL:  With the parks being closed, we have found some new areas on
island to go birding and migration is in full swing.
A sweet little Yellow-throated Warbler showed up, along with a Willet (out on a boardwalk), a White-eyed
Vireo that was bathing in the morning dew, a Tufted Titmouse snagging caterpillars , a Ruby-throated
Hummingbird (f), a nesting Red-bellied Woodpecker pair , a Northern Parula , an amiable House Wren that
posed for us, and a Cedar-waxwing flock.  The March sunrise pics will have to see us through until the
beaches reopen.  God be with everyone.
