| 4/27/18 to 5/3/18: FLORIDA: We traveled down the east coast of Florida to Key West, and then took the ferry to Dry Tortugas, FL, where we camped for three nights. We are still astounded by what we all saw! Mangrove Cuckoo, Wurdemann's Great Blue Heron, warblers galore, and an American Flamingo as well! |

| 4/27/2018 : Wakodahatchee Wetlands, Delray Beach, and Vero Beach, FL: (The beginning of our trip.) Wood Stork families were numerous and fun to watch. Also: Tricolored Heron , Purple Swamphen , Common Gallinule with chicks, Green Heron , Great Blue Heron young , Black-throated Blue Warbler , and White-winged Dove . At Vero: Cattle Egret , Sandhill Crane , Anhinga , a peeking Least Bittern , Black-crowned Night-Heron, and Great Egret landing. |

| 4/28/2018 : Sonny McCoy Indigenous Park, and area, Key West, FL: We only had a short time to visit but love this park - one never knows what will turn up! White-crowned Pigeon , Red-eyed Vireo , White-eyed Vireo , Red-bellied Woodpecker , and White Ibis. Also caught Northern Waterthrush , Northern Cardinal , and Common Ground-Dove on the trip through the Keys. |

| 4/28/2018 : Fairchild Botanical Garden, Miami, FL: A BIG Thanks to the leader and all those on the early morning walking tour who pointed out all the great birds and beautiful plants in the gardens! A Chestnut-fronted Macaw pair flew over us - that was a sight! Also: Common Yellowthroat , European Starling , Red-bellied Woodpecker at nest , Yellow-crowned Night-Heron , and Cedar Waxwing . |
