| FOR GREAT HORNED OWL CHICKS, CLICK ON NEXT PAGE BELOW. 4/1/2018 : Harris Neck NWR and environs, GA: It was a beautiful Easter Sunday! AMEN. An Anhinga was fishing at the NWF as Wood Stork individuals flew into the nearby trees for nest material. A Prairie Warbler and Yellow-rumped Warbler showed up along with Black Vulture and Great Egret flybys. Also of interest (but poorer images) were a Bonapart Gull and Blue-headed Vireo. |

| 4/1/2018 : Amelia Island, FL: Mourning Dove and House Finch individuals were looking for nest material, indicating it really is Spring. Then: Herring Gull (juv), Yellow-throated Warbler and Northern Parula. Black Skimmers were preening and Royal Terns were showing off. Also shown: Forster's Tern still in non-breeding plummage , a little female Ruby-throated Hummingbird , and Sandwich Tern along with a Ruddy Turnstone flock hunting for food. A Northern Cardinal also posed in some Bottle-brush flowers. |
