| 3/10/2016 Okefenokee NWR, GA: We searched for and found a Bachman's Sparrow singing his heart out at the refuge (tho he wouldn't come down for us). We caught a few other birds as well: Gray Catbird , Red-headed Woodpecker , Swallow-tailed Kite with nest material , House Wren , Turkey Vulture , and a wonderful male Wild Turkey strutting his stuff off the side of the road. |

| 3/16/2016 Okefenokee NWR, GA: Went back for a better pic of a Bachman's Sparrow (See below) but only saw and heard a distant one. We did see a Red-headed Woodpecker pair, Eastern Towhee , and Downy Woodpecker among others. Sunrises are mostly from March on Amelia Island, FL. |
