| 4/11/2015 to 4/27/2015 We headed west on a camping trip and hit the High Island area including Anahuac NWR, TX. On through NM to CO, we stopped along the way to catch area birds. |
| 4/11 thru 13/2015 High Island, Sabine Woods, and Anahuac NWR, TX: A Tennessee Warbler Flock came to play in a bottle brush tree and gave us some looks. A Swainson's Warbler was obliging as was a Summer Tanager pair that were hunting bees. Also, Tricolored Heron , White-eyed Vireo , Turkey Vulture , Western Meadowlark , White-crowned Sparrow , White-faced Ibis , Willet , Worm-eating Warbler (but eating a caterpillar) , Yellow-bellied Sapsucker , and Yellow-rumped Warbler . |
| 4/11 thru 13/2015 High Island, Sabine Woods, and Anahuac NWR, TX: Least Bittern , Kentucky Warbler , Inca Dove , King Rail taking a bath, Hooded Warbler , Boat-tailed Grackle , Blue-headed Vireo , Northern Parula , American Avocet flock in the waves , Long-billed Curlew , Marbled Godwit , Blue-winged Warbler , Ruby-throated Hummingbird , Fulvous Whistling-Duck , Eastern Kingbird , and Black-bellied Whistling-Duck . |
