| 10/14/2014 Okefenokee NWR, GA: Weather has been gorgeous! A morning up in GA gave us some wonderful looks at a flock of Pine Warblers. Also, Pileated Woodpecker , Palm Warbler , Northern Thrasher , Little Blue Heron (juv), Blue-gray Gnatcatcher , White-eyed Vireo , Wood Duck flock in flight, and two Red-shouldered Hawks at sunrise. |
| 10/18/2014 Orlando area, FL: The days have been absolutely beautiful! We had to do some birding on a quick trip to the Orlando area and we caught some Eastern Meadowlark individuals , a Limpkin , a Sandhill Crane, and a Northern Harrier . |
| 10/17/2014 Huguenot Memorial Park and Little Talbot, FL: It was fun to see a Painted Bunting still around. It was also a treat to see a Great White Heron (White Morph Great Blue Heron)! A male Common Grackle was showing off in great light and could not be denied. Also: Semipalmated Plover , Black-bellied Plover , a Tree Swallow swarm, and a juvenile Red-shouldered Hawk . |
