| 2/8 thru 13/2013 Palawan Island, Philippines: A glorious place with lovely inhabitants! We visited the west coast and birded by the famed underground river and mangrove swamps there then around various spots near Puerto Princesa, including the penal farm, some eco parks, and Pandan Island. |
| 2/15-22/2013 A quick trip to Beijing (The Great Wall, Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven, and a few more stops). Then we were off to Boracay Island, Philippines, a very special and beautiful place. |
| 3/8 to 10/2013 A weekend getaway to Lianghuang Mountains and its beautiful temple/waterfall walk. Then, a stop at Huanding Forest National Park Temple and the nearby fantastic Shiliang (Stonebeam) Waterfall and its perched temple. |
