| 10/1 thru 10/6/2013 Xishuangbanna, China: Crimson Sunbird , Common Iora , Burmese Shrike , Blue-throated Barbet , Long-tailed Shrike (dark subspecies), Great Tit, and Asian Openbill. The butterflies were fabulous! |
| 10/1 thru 10/6/2013 Xishuangbanna, China: It was exciting to catch a glimpse of the jungles of southern China. Elephant Valley and the Menlun Botanical Gardens were explored. The valley allowed aerial views of the rain forest via a very cool cable car and platform walkway while the gardens were magnificent! Shown here: a Scarlet Minivet flock was eating worms. Also: Blue-winged Leafbird , Ashy Minivet , Plaintive Cuckoo , Black-crested Bulbul , and Bar-winged Flycatcher-shrike . |
