5/30/2013-6/2/13: Okinawa, Japan:  It was exciting to see some of the Okinawa specialties and its 2
endemics:  Ruddy Kingfisher , Ryukyu Minivet , Pryer's Woodpecker (endemic), Okinawa Rail (endemic),
Brown-eared Bulbul , Eurasian Tree Sparrow , Varied Tit , Cattle Egret , a Blue Rock Thrush family and
other BRTH individuals , a very blue juvenile Eastern Great Tit who was incredibly persistent in his lunch
efforts, a Japanese Whiteeye , and a Large-billed Crow.  The butterflies were absolutely wonderful!  For
