| 3/12-14/2013: Hong Kong, China: A trip to the Wetlands Park allowed shots of a Black-faced Spoonbill and Grey Heron mixed flock. Unfortunately, it was a rainy, low-light day and most of the birds were snoozing. Fortunately or unfortunately (depending on whether you are the photographer or the bird), a very excited and noisy school group came in and woke everyone up! |
| 3/12-14/2013: Hong Kong, China: A trip to the Wetlands Park continued: A White Wagtail showing off, a Pied Avocet study , Oriental Magpie Robin , Masked Laughingthrush , Little Egret , Black-collared Starling , Greater Cormorant , an interesting subspecies of Black-winged Stilt , Red-whiskered Bulbul (+ juv without mustache?), and a distant Tufted Duck flock. Also, Grey-backed Thrush and Collared Crow. |
