| 1/6 thru 1/24 2013: Our trip to India started in the beautiful Goa region (1/6-1/12 Click on NEXT PAGE below!) and took us through Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary (1/19-1/21) and on to the Manjira Sanctuary, Hyderabad 1/24). |
| 1/20/2013: Bharatpur, India: White-eared Bulbul , Yellow-eyed Babbler , White-throated Kingfisher , Sarus Crane study (very exciting to see!) , Shikra , Greater Coucal , Rufous Treepie , Red-throated Flycatcher , Purple Heron , Painted Stork , and Dalmatian Pelican. |
| 1/20/2013: Bharatpur, India: Spotted Owlet , Red-crested Pochard (distant but exciting to see) , Red-breasted Flycatcher (m+f), Pied Kingfisher , Lesser Goldenback , Laughing Dove , Knob-billed Duck , Grey Heron , Green Sandpiper , distant Woolly-necked Stork , Grey Francolin (+ dust bath), Great White Pelican , and a real treat: a Black-necked Stork ! |
