| 9/5/12 The mountains west of Bangkok and Suan Luang Park, Thailand: Painted Stork , Green-billed Malkoha , Greater Racket-tailed Drongo (wonderful individual who came out ready to play), Streak-eared Bulbul , White-throated Kingfisher , Common Hoopoe , Oriental Magpie Robin (m), Yellow-rumped Flycatcher (f), Brown-throated Sunbird (f), and finally Zebra Dove (Peaceful Dove). |
| 9/7/12 Again, a big thanks to Jackie, a wonderful Taxi Driver who took us everywhere around Bangkok! The city parks and sights were amazing and we caught some bird pictures too. Yellow-rumped Flycatcher (m+f), Red-wattled Lapwing , Small Minivet (m), Red-collared Dove , a Pied Fantail study (because they insisted on it!), Oriental Cuckoo , Lineated Barbet , Javan Pond Heron , Indian Roller , Chinese Pond Heron , Brown Shrike , and a distant male Asian Koel who teased incessantly from across the river. |
