11/7/16  Tasmania, Australia - the LAST DAY of our trip:  Of the 12 Tasmanian endemics (Yellow Wattlebird ,
Tasmanian Thornbill, Forty-spotted Pardalote, Tasmanian Native-hen, Black-headed Honeyeater ,
Strong-billed Honeyeater , Yellow-throated Honeyeater , Dusky Robin , Tasmanian Scrubwren , Green
Rosella , Scrubtit , and Black Curawong), we missed the Scrubtit  but sure had fun looking for it!  We wish
we had had more time to explore the beautiful island.
Around Hobart, Tasmania, Australia: the brightest bird we found the last day was a gorgeous male Scarlet
Robin.  The male Golden Whistler was a close second.  Also: Dusky Robin and Olive Whistler.
11/7/16  Tasmania, Australia:  Australian Shoveler , Mallard , Galah , Pacific Black Duck , Silver Gull ,
Strong-billed Honeyeater , and Welcome Swallow .
11/7/16  Tasmania, Australia:  A Freckled Duck and a Chestnut Teal family study along with a few pics of a
Black Swan family, and then: individuals from a Black Currawong flock we found at higher elevations.
11/7/16  Tasmania, Australia:  In a dark gully at higher elevation we found a number of Tasmanian
Scrubwren individuals.   Also, one last pic of a Tasmanian Native-hen group found at Gould's Reserve.
