| 4/1-11/12 Beautiful Taiwan: We were able to take a few days to bird with Wayne Hsu, a phenomenal birder in Taiwan. Thanks, Wayne! White-bellied Green Pigeon , Brown-headed Thrush , Taiwan Bulbul , a juv. Plain Prinia (so cute) and parent, Javan Myna and a Red Turtle Dove . |
| 4/1-11/12 Taiwan: Along the east coast of Taiwan, we found some berry bushes. A Japanese White-eye gave us great looks. Also shown: Pacific Swallows on wire , Himalayan Black Bulbul, Chinese Bulbul , Brown Shrike , a distant Black-headed Munia flock , a Black Drongo up-close , and a Barred Button Quail . We actually saw some chicks but it was one of those great picture that got away! |
