9/16/11 Hockessin, DE: A computer crash put us out of action for a bit.  A few more pics from 9/16/11:  A
wonderful little female Black-throated Blue Warbler came out into the sunshine...for a few seconds -
what a beauty!  A Blackpoll Warbler preferred the shadows.  A Common Yellowthroat was kind enough to
look for bugs among the flowers which made for pretty pictures.  A young Northern Cardinal was begging
noticeably and a secretive Yellow Warbler was flitting about, hoping to avoid being noticed.
9/24+25/11 Hockessin, DE: Rainy weather didn't stop us from trying!  We were rewarded with a Tennessee
Warbler , a Nashville Warbler , a Magnolia Warbler , a Palm Warbler , an American Redstart flock, a
Northern Parula , and a Yellow-rumped Warbler ! Song Sparrows were about, along with a Northern
Cardinal still busy feeding her young, while a Gray Catbird popped out to visit.  The leaves are beginning
to change and the rain allowed for some artsy pics as well.
10/1/11 Now for something completely different...A family reunion took us to Orlando and Daytona Beach,
FL: Sandhill Crane , Snowy Egret , Tricolored Heron , White Ibis , Prairie Warbler (1st fall), Osprey , Brown
Pelican , Little Blue Heron , and Black-bellied Whistling Ducks having some fun with a bath.  At least we
had fun watching them bathe!
