| 6/26/20 to 7/4/20 We headed north to Minnasota and North Dakota: It was gorgeous out and every bird seemed to be having young at the time. Pics from ND still coming! |
| 6/30/20 Sheyenne National Grassland Preserve and area, ND: Vesper Sparrow , Yellow-headed Blackbird , Loggerhead Shrike (juv), Grasshopper Sparrow , Western Meadowlark , Upland Sandpiper , Common Yellowthroat , Ring-necked Pheasant , Red-winged Blackbird , Wilson's Phalarope , Krider's Red-tailed Hawk (cool to see the back pattern of juvenile), Dickcissel , American Coot , and Chipping Sparrow . |
| 6/30/20 Sheyenne National Grassland Preserve and area, ND: gray morph Field Sparrow , juvenile Cliff Swallow , Eastern Kingbird , Clay-colored Sparrow , Brewer's Blackbird , a male Bobolink in flowers , Barn Swallow , American Goldfinch , and Bank Swallow . The grassland flowers were wonderful. (And we have have to mention that we saw at least 20+ orioles (OROR+BAOR) but never caught a decent pic.) |
