4/28/19  to 5/6/19 TX and AZ:  We were busy the month of April with the grand baby and the flu but bounced
back to head out to TX and AZ for a camping trip.  We stopped at Lost Maples and Big Bend National Park
in TX, then headed to Paradise and Patagonia in AZ.  It was an amazing trip with lots of birds and amazing
stargazing at night.

5/5 and 5/6/19 Near Tubac and Patagonia, AZ:  Our last days out west, mainly trying for the Five-striped
Sparrow and the Rose-throated Becard.  We saw both: the Five-striped Sparrow suddenly surprising us
by appearing very close to the camera in the early morning, and the Rose-throated Becard finishing
building a grand nest.  (The female came in, then flew off. We were worried we were bothering her so we
left the scene after snapping some images of the male.  He did not seem to mind the audience at all.)
The nest was huge!
5/5 and 5/6/19 Near Tubac and Patagonia, AZ:  Our last days out west!  A little male Costa's Hummingbird
study.  He continued to land right in front of the camera.
