| 4/6/2018 : Las Vegas, NV: A visit to family living in Las Vegas allowed for some birding: Blue-winged Teal , Verdin , Northern Shoveler , Gambel's Quail , Eared Grebe , Common Moorhen , Mallard , Cassin's Vireo , and Ruby-crowned Kinglet. Also: Black-chinned Hummingbird and Costa's Hummingbird . |
| 4/3/2018 : Amelia Island, FL: A Cedar Waxwing flock paused by our house and fed on the holly tree. We just wished that we had had more berries still on the tree! |
| 4/6/2018 : A Cinnamon Teal study! A slough was open, apparently bringing in food so we could watch them feed in wonderful light. |
