| 11/21/2017 : Tobago: We birded around the grounds of the Blue Water Inn before and after our Little Tobago boat trip, then headed to Newton George's place for hummingbirds: Cocoa Woodcreeper with a mouthful , Fuscous Flycatcher , Red-crowned Woodpecker having fun with berries , Rufous-vented Chachalaca, Trinidad Mot Mot , we believe a Black-faced Grassquit (f) but never saw the male, White-tipped Dove , Yellow-bellied Elaenia , Barred Antshrike, and Blue-gray Tanager . |

| 11/21/2017 : Trinidad and Tobago. From Tobago, we took a boat out to Little Tobago with our great Guide Troy. Thanks, Troy! He led us up to some cliffs where one could overlook nesting boobies and watch the Red-billed Tropicbirds soar by. That was a real treat to see! Also: Magnificent Frigatebird - we watched them chase the tropicbirds and boobies, snatching at their tails so the fishing birds would drop their catch for them to steal. While distant, one also could catch sight of nesting Red-footed Boobie individuals, juveniles, and white-tailed morphs flying by. |
