| 11/16-23/2017 : Trinidad and Tobago. WOW - what a great trip! 11/16/17 was spent at Asa Wright Nature Center. (Thanks to all the guides there - you all were awesome!) Turquoise Tanager , a female Tufted Coquette study, a White-chested Emerald study , Yellow Oriole , White-lined Tanager , Spectacled Thrush , and Tropical Mockingbird (also seen at Nariva Swamp the next day and included here.) WOW - what a great trip! 11/17/17 Before and after our Guide Maheesh (sp?) from Asa Wright Nature Center took us to Nariva Swamp - Thanks, Maheesh! - we birded Asa Wright and caught more pics of mostly what we had seen the first day there: Ochra-bellied Flycatcher, Yellow Oriole , White-chested Emerald , Tufted Coquette , Long-billed Starthroat , Cocoa Thrush , Common Black Hawk , Spectacled Thrush , Silver-beaked Tanager , Great Kiskadee , Crested Oropendola (displaying), Copper-rumped Hummingbird , Blue-chinned Sapphire , and Barred Antshrike (m). |
