5/18/2017 Huguenot Memorial Park, FL:  The fabulous Brown Pelican bonanza continued as they gather in
the relatively safe dunes and feed in the channel.  Sadly, we heard that the American Oystercatcher nest
was gone due to predation though at least one continued to be seen hanging around.  Also shown: Royal
Tern colony, Semipalamated Plove pair , and Laughing Gull pairs nesting.
5/25/2017 Amelia Island and surroundings, FL: Brown Thrasher , Blackpoll Warbler , Great Crested
Flycatcher , American Redstart (molt) , White-eyed Vireo , Least Tern (We kept our distance - hope they are
successful!  However, the Bald Eagle flybys were causing them much angst.), Tufted Titmouse,
Yellow-throated Warbler , Carolina Chickadee , Bald Eagle , and Fish Crow antics in great light .
