| 8/11/2015 Huguenot and Amelia Island, FL: Migration in progress! What fun! A small Black Tern flock hung with us for a while. It was interesting to have 4 different Tern species in the frame at one time: Common, Royal, and Sandwich along with the Black Tern. Also: Great Black-backed Gull , Egrets in migration , Reddish Egret , Black-bellied Plover , Ruddy Turnstone flock and a Willet bathing. The day before, we caught a Prairie Warbler , Red-shouldered Hawk , and a White-eyed Vireo family passing through. |
