| 11/19-26/2013 From Shanghai, we flew on to Phi Phi Island via Phuket (nice beaches), and then to Bangkok (Ayutthaya ruins), Thailand. While we did no birding, we enjoyed the other sights to be seen. Phi Phi had a typhoon sweep through while we were there which offered some different photo opportunities. |
| 12/5 to 10/2013 Fuzhou, China: An enjoyable birding trip was taken to Fuzhou and the surrounding mountains. In Fuzhou itself, the Forest Park (Botanical Gardens) was visited. |
