| 12/21/2013-1/2/2014 Darwin, Australia: We had an amazing trip to Australia's Northern Territory. From Darwin we headed towards Kakadu NP via Howard Springs, Fogg Dam Reserve, Leaning Tree Park, Window on the Wetlands, and the Aurora area where we spent a couple of fabulous days in 104 degree heat. 12/31/13 Near Bitter Springs, Australia: Two of our favorite birds there are shown in a Crimson Finch study (m+f) and an Azure Kingfisher study. |
| 12/31/13 From Bitter Springs on back to Darwin, Australia: White-throated Honeyeater , White-gaped Honeyeater , Spangled Drongo , Rufous-banded Honeyeater , Red-backed Kingfisher , Red-backed Fairy-wren , Rainbow Bee-eater , Pied Imperial-Pigeon , Rufous or Nankeen Night-Heron , Lemon-bellied Flycatcher , Black-faced Woodswallow , and Brown Falcon. |
